Description/Purpose:
Using a dialogue guide grounded in the Vital Conditions for Health and Well-Being framework, participants engaged in small-group conversations about what supports thriving in their communities, the challenges that limit well-being, and the changes needed for future generations to thrive.

Community dialogues were held in 17 locations throughout NCW with groups ranging from 5 to over 70 participants. Each dialogue used the Thriving Together NCW Dialogue Guidebook to facilitate the conversations. Spanish language interpretation was provided as needed either in-person whenever possible, otherwise it was provided via zoom. Quotes and notes were collected by a Thriving Together staff member or trained facilitator.

Description of who was included in the dataset:
This dataset includes quotes from a wide variety of NCW residents though there was emphasis on inviting those who are likely most affected by environmental health disparities. Specifically Men, Women, English-speaking, Spanish-speaking, straight, LGBTQI+, Elderly, youth, employed, unemployed, housed, those in unstable housing.
